Mycelium Creatures & material experimentation

Experimentation with mycelium (fungi) as a sustainable biomaterial for craft, using recycled plastic containers as moulds to grow organic forms. The finished pieces were painted with milk-based paint and embellished with needle-felted fibres to create playful, character sculptures.
